Book a Call

nice to meet you

I'm an artist at heart. My most joyful, creative and invigorating moments have happened in the studio. Walking into blank studio spaces to create something yet unseen remains one of my favorite things on planet earth.

I also spent 20 years in business.  Developing myself as a leader and coach helped me grow in ways I may not have otherwise. Seeing others on my team WIN brings me great joy.

At the same time, I always believed that those of us experiencing success have an obligation to be of service however we can. 15 years ago, I co-founded a public school in Tanzania with a mission of improving education equity there. That school is now ranked #1 academically with 100% graduation rates for 8+ years in a row. The ripple effect has been a lesson in humility.

Integrating what I've learned in these different spaces in order to support you and the impact you are called to make is what drives my work today.

There is profound wisdom in artistic process. But we've separated "the arts" from "professional work" as if they're a different species. As if the process that helps a dancer create choreography has nothing to teach the executive trying to navigate a career pivot.

Turns out our best work happens when all the parts of ourselves get to say 'yes, and.'  You deserve to feel lit up that way, too!  You get to be goal-oriented and creative. Purposeful and playful. Strategic and significant.

That's where our work together begins.  (While we have a freakin' blast.)

the backstory

GET TO KNOW ME.

NON-PROFIT FOUNDER

I'm the co-founder and President of Friends of Kisimani School, a registered 501(c)3 that supports Kisimani School, a public school in Arusha, Tanzania. What started in 2011 as a grassroots effort has grown into something pretty amazing.

We started with two goals: build a public school for a neglected community, and teach in English to offer equal opportunity education.  (Public primary schools teach in Swahili.  Private schools teach in English.  However, everyone is expected to learn in English in secondary school.)

Today, over 1,700 students each year attend what's now the #1 academically ranked school in the entire region. The community in Mkonoo village no longer has to send their youngest children on 7-11 kilometer walks to the nearest public school. That's impact that matters, and that our whole team is extremely proud of.

ENTREPRENEUR

I built my first business with Arbonne beginning in my early 20s, reaching the top 1% of the company's sales force and earning the 2013 Spirit of Arbonne award for embodying the company's mission to contribute to positive change locally, nationally, and globally.

That business gave me the time freedom and financial foundation to pursue my passion for international development work. (See how this all connects?)

I am most proud of elevating current and future leaders in the company to live their full potential, and impact the world in their own unique way.

If you're searching for a vehicle to buy back your time in service of your calling, I highly recommend taking a peek.

CREATIVE

I hold a B.A. in Communications + Theater from Northwestern University and an M.A. in Acting for Screen from the Royal Central School of Speech Drama in London. (Yes, I'm a trained mime. No, I won't get stuck in an invisible box. Yes, I will make you want to play when we work together.)

I'm a collaborating ensemble member and writer for Broken Box Mime Theater, an NYC-based contemporary physical theater company that tells original stories without words or props. I've also worked as an Executive Producer and Producer, most proudly with the team at Ctrl Alt Delete for their social activism and recent Emmy nominations.
