Why travel with us?

Every safari benefits local education initiatives.

How?

  • Our travel partners are world-class operators that generously donate a percentage of their commissions to our non-profit.
  • We then direct those funds to locally-led education programs.Ā
  • Your trip is bespoke to you, so you can travel with a full heart and peace of mind.
Where does my fundraising go?

Travel, empower, repeat.

Every safari that we envision together benefits local education equity initiatives funded by Friends of Kisimani 501(c)3, and Education Progress Initiatives (EPI).

About Our Work

Friends of Kisimani

In Tanzania, the language of instruction for public primary school is Swahili, and changes to English once a student is accepted into secondary school.Ā  However, most private schools offer instruction in English from the early years onwards, giving private school students a significant learning advantage once they reach secondary school.Ā

Kisimani is one of very few 'charter' schools to offer instruction in English at a public school, without mandatory school fees, and a sliding scale of suggested contributions from parents based on their economic circumstances.

Since 2010, it has grown and flourished to become a model school, ranking #1 academically in the region.

About Us

Education Progress InitiativesĀ

Education Progress InitiativesĀ ("EPI" - registered non-profit in Tanzania) pilots teacher training and life skills programs at Kisimani School, using our school as a hub to carry out their mission of improving public education for all students in Tanzania.Ā  Ā

Samwel Yonah (EPI) is an inspiring advocate for education progress, and we are working together to elevate his organization's influence and resources.
