Moved.
A Travel Experience
for the courageously compassionate
You're here to do good.
But the path has become unclear.
There are so many opportunities to ‘give back’ and it seems like everyone has an opinion on the ‘right’ way to do it.

Meanwhile, your heart continues to break every day as you watch the sorrows and injustices of the world compound and grow.
There’s a voice inside that says, ‘it’s alright, just take care of you and yours.’
And then another one that says, ‘you are one of the lucky ones. You have a responsibility to make a difference.
Why aren’t you doing more’?
The chatter is deafening.
So maybe you meditate and feel a bit better.
Maybe you go for a run.
Or maybe you just bury yourself in the next big goal (because it sure does feel good to achieve, doesn’t it?)

Well, my friend - I'm here to tell you one thing:
I believe you and I believe in you.
I believe you're here to do some good in the midst of this dumpster fire.
I also believe you when you whisper to me in confidence that you just don't feel fulfilled yet with how you're going about it. I also believe in your high-achieving self's ability to cut through the noise and...
...figure it out.
You ask hard questions. Important questions. And you really give a shit.
(Pardon my language - and don’t tell my kids - but don’t the issues that are most precious to you get you a little fired up?)
So you decide to give it a go. You think about sitting on another board. You consider volunteering again. You go to the fancy fundraising galas. (Should I buy the whole table out?) You think about starting your own organization, maybe - or a foundation or social enterprise that has some impact. You meet with your financial advisor and make a plan for giving. Maybe you are well on your way to executing that plan, but the potholes you’re running into have you questioning the path itself. You think and think and think. And at the end of the day, you still feel a little bit helpless and disconnected. But who would want to hear about that internal wrestling match when there are ‘real problems’ to solve?
i do. because i think we're on to something here.
So many of us want to bemore, do more, have more - so we can give more. And dang it, we will be the best ‘givers’ we can be, because we know what those archetypes look like. But as it turns out, sometimes helping can end up doing more harm than good - and we know that - so we don’t do anything for fear of getting it wrong.

Newsflash: we are going to get it wrong. And this purpose-driven paralysis isn’t helping anyone.
We are going to make mistakes. We are going to realize that we have blind spots. We are going to want to do better next time.
But we can’t do better next time if there is no next time because we’re too afraid to put our ideas into action.
Too afraid that they won’t be enough.
Too afraid of being canceled instead of welcoming constructive criticism.
Too afraid to admit that the foundation we’ve built our plan on has some cracks in it.

I believe we need to try anyway.
introducing MOVED.
The experience you've been longing for, and couldn't even envision...until we created it just for courageously, compassionate you.
(Does the word 'compassionate' make you think this isn't for results-oriented you? I see you. Think again, my friend.)
Hi, I'm Leah.
- Here's where I'll put my bona fides and why you should listen to me
- I have walked this path. I have wrestled with these questions, and continue to every day. I have been recognized for doing good work while internally feeling like it was never enough. I have felt really good about the work that I was doing and received no recognition for it. I have done work that is recognized as being purposeful, yet sacrificed my own well-being in the process. I have had a full on existential crisis as an artist, wondering what it all means and why the heck does it really matter? I have simmered in my own guilt. I have made mistakes and learned from them. I have felt that my voice didn't have anything to contribute to the conversation, and I have spoken up in times where uncomfortable feedback was the right thing to do. I have been a naive and wide-eyed optimist. I have been a practical pragmatist. I have been a champion for causes that really mattered to me, and I have fallen on my knees feeling like I did not know what to do. I have found my way back to the potent power of personal creativity to transform our perspectives and connect more deeply with our collective humanity.
- I have waxed poetic about stuff exactly like this only to undercut myself and crack a joke to make everyone laugh. Because sometimes a good belly laugh is exactly what we need to have a breakthrough.
- I can't wait to see yours.

You're ready to develop actionable strategies that are values-aligned

You're prepared to not only accept, but embrace mistake-making as an essential part of the process

You crave a supportive community that fosters collaboration, encouragement, and vulnerable mistake-making
-
You take your work seriously, but never yourself (wink, wink)
My hope for you
I want you to feel so incredibly clear on your path forward, and even more than that, I want you to trust that your efforts are not just in service of others, but in respectful and dignified partnership with them. And I want you to have so much FUN figuring it out that your energy is contagious. I want you to to be a leader that is a learner. I want you to be moved. And transform what moves you into inspired, positive action. (and also - how about we do all of this in the birthplace of humanity where the landscape is so fucking beautiful that you can’t help feel connected to the whole world.)
